This is a one year comprehensive course in orthodontics and interdisciplinary dentistry for the treatment of the entire dental and facial system. It will provide the orthodontist with the principles to achieve Functional And Cosmetic Excellence. The goal is to, "Make Good Orthodontists Better".
The objective of this course is to assist the Orthodontist in achieving consistent, efficient, high quality orthodontics for their patients. The course consists of 5 modules which build on one another. The graduate of this course will be able to solve complex cases based on goal directed treatment objectives.
The course is for orthodontists who have completed or are enrolled in an accredited orthodontic residency program. Treatment mechanics with self-ligation appliances, accelerated orthodontics, skeletal anchorage, computer assisted VTO &STO’s, radiology and practice management are but some of the topics to be covered.
Dates are: September 13-17, December 6-10, March 14-18, June, and October. The first two sessions will be held at the Dawson Institute in St Petersburg, Florida. The third session will be in San Francisco. The fourth session will include the Arnett Surgical Course in Santa Barbara, California. The final week will be in Miami at the Pankey Institute.
