Dr Straty RighellisDr Straty Righellis, a Diplomate of the American Board of Orthodontics, is an Associate Clinical Professor at the University of the Pacific and University of California atSan Francisco, Schools of Dentistry. Dr Righellis is on the Editorial Review Board for the American Journal of Orthodontics, a frequent lecturer at Regional, National and International meetings on Clinical Orthodontics. He is past President of the Edward H Angle Society, Northern California. He graduated from UCLA Dental School and received his orthodontic specialty certification from University of California at San Francisco. He maintains a private practice in Oakland, California. |

Dr. L. Douglas KnightDr. Knight is a graduate of the Roth/Williams 2 year program for Functional Occlusion and was on the faculty at the Center for Functional Occlusion from 1997 to 2000. He is the recipient of the Roth Williams International Society of Orthodontists Pacesetter Award. Most recently, he was honored by the Hardin County School System with a Distinguished Alumni Award. Dr Knight is a graduate of the University of Kentucky College of Dentistry and the Army Dental Corps1-year General Practice Residency. In addition, he is a Diplomate of The American Board of Orthodontics and a Fellow of the Academy of General Dentistry. Dr. Knight completed his orthodontic training at New York University in 1995. Dr. Knight has published several articles in the Academy of General Dentistry and the Journal of Clinical Orthodontics. Dr. Knight founded an interdisciplinary team training group with teams from around the country. Besides operating two offices, Dr. Knight lectures on a broad range of topics to study clubs and residency programs. He has been appointed as Director of the Roth Williams International Society of Orthodontists for the United States. |

Dr. G. William ArnettDr. G. William Arnett graduated with honors from the University of Southern California Dental School and University of California at Los Angeles in oral and maxillofacial surgery. His practice is strictly limited to facial reconstruction including surgery and research. He has been the featured speaker nationally and internationally in all aspects of Orthognathic surgery. Dr. Arnett has published numerous papers and the textbook titled Facial and Dental Planning for Orthodontists and Oral Surgeons. Dr. Carl P. RoyCarl P. Roy, DDS, MS was graduated from the Medical College of Virginia School of Dentistry in 1979. After practicing general dentistry for six years, he attended West Virginia University where he received his Certificate in Orthodontics and Master of Science with honors in 1987. He completed the Roth/Williams Center for Functional Occlusion two year program in 1994. Dr. Roy served on the faculty of the National Children’s Medical Center Orthodontic Residency is a faculty member of the Roth/Williams Center for Functional Occlusion and a visiting faculty for the Dawson Academy. He has served the dental association on the Executive Committee, the Patient Relations Committee and is a past president of the Tidewater Orthodontic Society. Dr. Roy is an active member of numerous organizations including the American Dental Association, the American Association of Orthodontists, the College of Diplomates of the American Board of Orthodontics, the Arnett Interdisciplinary Foundation, and the Roth/Williams International Society of Orthodontists. Dr. Roy resides in Virginia Beach, Virginia where he maintains a private practice in orthodontics with a special interest in interdisciplinary treatment. |

Dr. Renato CocconiRenato Cocconi MD, MS, attended the 3 years postgraduate program at the Department of Orthodontics of the University of Milan where he obtained his master degree in 1993. He spent 2, 1/2 years in the United States where he worked in L.F. Andrews’ office in San Diego and attended the 2 years Roth Williams postgraduate course in Burlingame (CA) in 1991-1993. He has cohoperated with Terry Tanaka on TMJ anatomy and facial pain. He is currently clinical professor at the Department of Orthodontics of the University of Milan and his private practice is in Parma where he lives. He is responsable of the Roth Williams group in Italy and Europe. He is member of the EOS, AAO, SIDO and active member of the Angle Society of Europe. In recent years he has been keynote speaker in all the major Orthodontic Societies in Europe, North and South America. |

Dr. Michael J. GunsonDr. Michael J. Gunson graduated from UCLA Dental School and continued on to receive his Medical Degree and Specialty Certificate in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery from UCLA. Upon completion of his training, Dr. Gunson was invited to partner with Dr. G. William Arnett at the Center for Corrective Jaw Surgery in Santa Barbara, California. Since that time, his practice has been limited to facial reconstructive surgery, surgical correction of sleep apnea and research. Dr. Gunson has lectured and published research on the surgical correction of OSA, the three dimensional airway changes associated with surgical correction, the medical treatment of mandibular condylar resorption, and the quantification of beauty. Specializing in orthognathic surgery and research has enabled Drs. Gunson and Arnett to examine approximately 10,000 patients with cosmetic, functional, and OSA conditions. As a result, they have studied and improved their results while sharing information through publications and lectures. |

Dr. Jorge AyalaDr. Ayala received his DDS from the University of Chile in May 1967. He received his specialty degree in Orthodontics from the University of Chile in 1970. He served on the faculty in the Department of Orthodontics and Dentofacial Orthopedics at the University of Chile. He established a private practice of orthodontics in Santiago, Chile in 1970. Dr. Ayala graduated from the Roth/Williams “two year” continuing education program in 1987. He then began to teach the concepts of functional occlusion and orthodontics. He is the Director of the Roth/Williams Center for Functional Occlusion in Chile and encharged of Roth Williams in Mexico, Central and South America. He has lectured extensively throughout South and Central America, Mexico, Spain, Italy, Germany, Ukraine, USA, Japan, Korea, and China. Currently he gives continuing education courses for orthodontists in Chile, Brazil, Argentina, Perú, Paraguay, Venezuela and Spain. He has been invited to speak at the University of Chile, University of Pennsylvania School of Dental Medicine, Department of Orthodontics, UNAM Mexico, Department of Orthodontics University of Puebla, Mexico and Harvard University School of Dental Medicine, Department of Orthodontics. Dr. Ayala has been distinguished as Honorary Member of the Chilean Society of Orthodontists and of the Paraguayan Society of Orthodontist and as Distinguished Professor by the University Andrés Bello, Chile. Dr. Ayala is Chairmain of the Orthodontic Department at the University of Los Andes, Chile Dr. Ayala maintains a private practice in Santiago, Chile. |

Dr. David HatcherDavid C. Hatcher, D.D.S., M.Sc., M.R.C.D.(c) received his D.D.S. degree from the University of Washington. Subsequently he completed two years active duty in the U.S. Public Health Service and a one year general practice residency program at the University of Vermont Medical Center. Following three years as an instructor and one year as acting director of the general practice residency and the hospital dental clinical at the University of Washington, Dr. Hatcher entered the graduate program in radiology at the University of Toronto and was granted a specialty degree in Oral and Maxillofacial Radiology in 1982 and an M.Sc. in 1983. His thesis topic dealt with radiology of temporomandibular dysfunction. Dr. Hatcher was an Associate Professor and Chairman of the Division of Radiology for five years at the University of Alberta, Canada. He was also Director of the Temporomandibular Joint Investigation Unit and Clinic while at the University of Alberta. Presently Dr. Hatcher is in private practice in the Sacramento Valley and has faculty appointments at both the University of Southern Nevada and the University of Pacific Dental Schools. He has published many articles and lectured extensively to medical and dental organizations. |

Andrew GirardotDr. Andy Girardot attended dental school at the University of Southern California. After graduation, he practiced general dentistry in the Los Angeles area and taught operative dentistry at the USC School of Dentistry. He then attended orthodontic school at the USC School of Dentistry and has been in the private practice of orthodontics in Denver for over thirty-five years. Dr. Girardot is a diplomate of the American Board of Orthodontics, a member of the Angle Society of Orthodontics, and a Fellow of the American College of Dentists. He has numerous publications in the orthodontic literature and has taught and lectured nationally and internationally for over twenty-five years with emphasis on functional occlusion and orthodontics. He is co-founder, co-director and faculty member of Advanced Education in Orthodontics (Roth/Williams USA) at the University of Detroit Mercy School of Dentistry. Dr. Girardot is also on the part time faculty at the University of Colorado, School of Dentistry, Department of Orthodontics. |
